Once a quarter we host a 45-minute "Connect Luncheon" where we invite our guests and regular attenders to come, enjoy some appetizers and learn more about the mission and ministries of our church.  It's a great opportunity to learn more about who we are and what we do and how you can get more involved.  We also offer a 4 week New Members Class for those who want to explore a more formal relationship with HUMC.

• Tech Team - Helps with the overall production of our morning services. Lights, camera, action!  (no previous experience is necessary)

• Greeter - Greet others as they arrive on campus. Are you great at first impressions?  Warm and outgoing personalities are welcome!  

• Security Detail - Provides roaming security during our services. Ability to confront people & engage appropriately. 

• Parking Attendants - Welcome & direct people (especially first-time guests) to parking areas. Ability to direct traffic & welcome people from a distance.  Can handle being outdoors in all types of weather.

• Vocalists & Musicians - Ability to lead others in music through vocals or provide instrumental accompaniment. Interested in singing in the choir? (Audition required)

• Children's Ministry - Do you have a heart for children? We have a place for you! From rocking babies to sharing the gospel through teaching, games & crafts. (No experience necessary)

• Children's Welcome Desk - Are you tech savvy & have a friendly personality? Help us check-in our families upon their arrival on Sundays. 

• Student Ministry - Do you enjoy middle school or high school students?  Do you have a mature, yet playful personality?  

• Teacher / Small Group leaders - Do you have a gift & desire to teach or lead a small group?  We have room for more engaging communicators!

• Congregational Care - Do you have the gift of empathy?  Do you desire to help those who are hurting or in need?  Join our HUMC Cares Team!

• Sports Ministry - Do you like sports?  Do you have a gift with organization or administration?  Would you like to be a part of a ground floor ministry building opportunity?  We are looking to expand into the following sports: soccer, baseball, basketball.  

• Organizational Assistance - Are you proficient with computers?  Is email or data your jam?  More introverted in nature?  Let's talk.. via text of course.  :)

• Creative Arts Team - Do you enjoy creative expressions or have an art/design background?  Like to bring ideas and biblical concepts to life in creative ways?  Maybe our Creative Arts Team is your new home?

• Membership Secretary - This person will help keep accurate membership records, help the congregation remain informed of its current reality, and will build a plan for growth in professions of faith, baptisms, members, and discipleship. Click HERE for more information.
